For the second year, DongDong pairs up with Dada, the Mecca of alternative dance. Dada will serve as a platform to showcase all shades of electronic music from China and greater Asia as well as some foreign talents too.

Thursday 27th we start up with the beautiful glitch sounds of Sun Glitters, the ecstatic, beautifully gradient experimental hardware electronic of Beijing duo White+ followed by pure industrial techno spinned by sound architect Far/∞.

Friday 28th we have the privilege to host 2 artists that made their debuts in UK from where they learned and picked the magic of deep and sultry bass music, one is Fifi Rong, a songwriter, and producer who besides looking like a sort of foxy lady from ancient Chinese fairy tales has crafted a distinctive and seductive trip hop sound and has gained quite some traction after featuring her voice on Triky’s tune; the other is producer Howie Lee, one of Beijing’s “incontournable” figure, as the co founder of Do Hits music collective and as a skilled inventor of a new breed of Beijing homegrown bass music infused with field recordings and lush sound scapes. To finish up, Antipop, one of the founding member of iconic French touch band Telepopmusik will spin his current sounds, still sexy and atmospheric but also more hybrid and electro driven.

Saturday 29th, DongDong pairs up with infamous party label Antidote who has been working on a heavy line up of Chinese and Asian producers. Straight from Seoul we’ll have Soolee, one of the most influential underground techno producers in Korea as well as forward thinking media artist. Calliph8 from Manila, expert in merging, summing and hybridization will serve us some of his distinctive audio collages; Chengdu artist Nichifanlemei, founder of Footprint label will spin what he likes to call his impersonal groove while Shackup will make our rump shake to his dirty trap.
